Grantees

Cohort of 2024-2025

Awarded grants for the academic year of 2024-2025

The Fulbright Commission in Brussels has awarded a total of 57 grants through the Fulbright Belgium and Luxembourg Programs for graduate studies, research and teaching during the 2024-25 academic year. This includes grants to 13 Belgian students and student researchers, nine Belgian scholars, and three Luxembourgish students through the Fulbright Foreign Student and Visiting Scholar Programs. It also includes grants to 32 Americans through the Fulbright U.S. Student and Scholar Programs.

Fulbright grantees undergo a rigorous selection process, involving a written application and interview by a selection committee, and all selected grantees receive approval of the presidentially-appointed Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Candidates are evaluated on their proposed study or research plans as well as on academic and professional excellence, social engagement, and ambassadorial qualities.
