In 1948, the Fulbright Commission in Brussels was established with the goal of increasing mutual understanding through academic exchange between citizens of Belgium, Luxembourg, and the United States. Over the past 75 years, the Fulbright Commission in Brussels has facilitated the academic exchange of over 4000 students, researchers, teaching assistants, and professors between the United States of America and Belgium and Luxembourg. Today, the Fulbright Commission continues to provide grants for passionate and accomplished students and scholars of all backgrounds to study, teach, and conduct research, thereby helping to build mutual understanding and finding solutions to critical international concerns.
As we prepare to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Fulbright Program in Belgium and Luxembourg, the Fulbright Commission is launching an ambitious fundraising campaign. Our goal is to build an endowment funded by donations from alumni, private individuals, and corporate partners that will allow us to provide life-changing Fulbright scholarships for decades to come.
Donations to the Friends of Fulbright fundraising campaign will be recognized on the website and publications of the Fulbright Commission, and donors will be invited to participate in anniversary events. We encourage donors to consider the following giving levels when making their donation:
Tax-deductible donations to the Friends of Fulbright fundraising campaign can be made in euro or U.S. dollar to the Friends of Fulbright account with the King Baudouin Foundation. To make a one-time or recurring donation, click the links below.
